I did a small side project the other day. In short, I "rewrote" the The Gospel of John (Jóhannesarguðspjall), making Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene change roles, so instead of Jesus walking on water, being crucified, and so on, it's Mary. I also changed the gender of God, some of "Mary's" apostles, and did some other alterations to the ancient text.
