Blóð hraustra manna won a literature prize in Iceland! It's called "Tindabikkjan" and is for the best crime novel in Iceland in the year 2013, awarded by the Crime Literature Organization in the western fjords of Iceland (Glæpafélag Vestfjarða in Icelandic). Blóð hraustra manna was chosen over books by writers such as Arnaldur Indriðason and Yrsa Sigurðardóttir.
